1. Eligibility criteria

1.1 Entry is open to all residents of Western Australia aged 18 years or older who own property within the Just Skirting service area (Perth metro, WA). Entry is limited to property owners; tenants and occupiers are not eligible.

1.2 To be eligible for the draw, the entrant must receive a genuine, free, no-obligation project quote from Just Skirting during the promotional period.

1.3 This promotion is open to any person who receives a genuine quote from Just Skirting during the promotional period and who meets the criteria in clause 1.1, whether or not that quote has been booked, and whether or not the work has commenced or been completed. Completion of the project before the draw does not affect eligibility.

1.4 The following individuals are strictly excluded from entering or winning:

• Clients whose quote was issued prior to the start of the promotional period and whose project was booked and paid in full prior to the start of the promotional period.
• Employees, immediate family members, or agents of Just Skirting.

1.5 Quotes must be requested through Just Skirting’s official website quote form, phone enquiry line, or a verified direct social media message to be eligible. Quotes obtained through unofficial or third-party channels are not eligible for entry.

1.6 For the purposes of these Terms, a quote is received on the date and time Just Skirting issues the written quote to the entrant by email or other written means. Verbal estimates and preliminary indications of price are not quotes.

1.7 A quote is “genuine” for the purposes of these Terms where it reflects Just Skirting’s standard, fair market pricing in accordance with clause 2.3 and relates to an actual request for Just Skirting’s supply and/or installation services.

1.8 In these Terms, a valid entry means an entry that meets the criteria in this clause 1, has not been withdrawn under clause 2.6, is not excluded as a duplicate under clause 2.8, and has not been disqualified under clause 7.

2. How to enter

2.1 Entry is automatic. Every eligible individual who receives a valid project quote during the promotional period will automatically receive one (1) entry into the prize draw.

2.2 No entry fee, purchase, or deposit is required to enter the draw. Requesting and receiving a quote is completely free of charge.

2.3 Quote pricing will reflect standard, fair market retail value. No artificial premiums or surcharges will be added to quotes during the promotional period.

2.4 Limit of one (1) entry per property address, as defined in clause 2.8.

2.5 Where multiple quotes are requested for different products or quote types (e.g. skirting boards and any other Just Skirting service) at the same site or property address within the promotional period, these will be treated as a single entry. Only one (1) entry per site will be counted, regardless of the number or type of quotes requested at that address.

2.6 Entrants are notified of their entry and of these Terms at the time their quote is issued. An entrant may withdraw their entry at any time before the close of the promotional period by using the opt-out method provided with their quote or by contacting Just Skirting directly. Withdrawal does not affect the entrant’s quote or their entitlement to Just Skirting’s services in any way.

2.7 The promotional period opens and closes at the times set out at the top of these Terms. Entry is determined by the date and time at which Just Skirting issues the quote.

2.8 For the purposes of clauses 2.4 and 2.5, “property address” means the full street address of the property at which the quoted work is to be performed, as recorded on the quote issued by Just Skirting. Where two or more entries relate to the same property address within the promotional period, the entry corresponding to the earliest-issued quote stands, and later entries for that property are not counted separately.

3. Prize value capping & forfeiture

3.1 This promotion offers a First Prize and a Second Prize of the values set out at the top of these Terms, each applied solely as a credit toward the relevant winner’s quoted project with Just Skirting.

3.2 If a winner’s total project quote is less than their applicable prize value, the prize will be capped at the exact total value of that quote (rendering the project free). The winner completely forfeits the remaining cash difference, and no cash, credit, or alternative payout will be issued for the remaining balance.

3.3 Each prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative goods, except as provided in clause 5.3 where a winner’s project has already been completed and paid in full as at the date of the draw.

3.4 Each prize credit applies solely to the project described in the relevant winner’s individual quote from Just Skirting, which sets out exactly what that quote covers. The credit does not extend to any additional work, products, or services not included in that quote. Regardless of what is included in a winner’s quote, the prize credit does not extend to asbestos identification or removal, electrical work, structural repairs, or removal of furniture from the site. Temporary relocation of furniture within the property to allow access for standard work is included as part of the service, where required for that job. Touch-up painting to finish and blend newly installed skirting boards is included as part of standard skirting installation jobs (not applicable to scotia-only jobs, which do not require this finishing step). This does not extend to broader painting work, such as repainting walls or an entire room, which remains excluded. The prize value is inclusive of GST.

3.5 The total maximum prize pool for each promotional period is $2,500 AUD, comprising one First Prize of up to $2,000 AUD and one Second Prize of up to $500 AUD.

3.6 Where a winner has more than one active quote from Just Skirting for different sections or stages of the same property, the winner may choose which single quote the prize is applied to. The prize cannot be split across multiple quotes, or combined with the value of another quote.

4. Media rights & promotional consent

4.1 By claiming a prize, each winner grants Just Skirting a royalty-free, worldwide licence to take, edit, and publish photographs and video footage of the winner’s property relating to the quoted project, for a period of five (5) years from the date of the licence or until withdrawn by the winner in writing. Entrants who do not win a prize grant no licence under this clause and are under no imagery obligation.

4.2 This consent covers both “before” and “after” imagery of the work site, materials, and completed project, for winners only.

4.3 Just Skirting reserves the right to use these images and videos across all marketing and corporate platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, websites, print portfolios, and digital advertisements.

4.4 Winners warrant that they are the legal owner of the property relating to the quoted project and have the legal right to grant this media licence.

4.5 No royalty, fee, or other financial compensation will be payable to the winner or property owner for the use of these promotional materials at any time.

4.6 To protect consumer privacy, Just Skirting agrees to obscure or omit any highly sensitive personal identifiers (such as house numbers, street name signs, or vehicle licence plates) visible in the imagery prior to public distribution.

4.7 Just Skirting’s installation team will take before and after photographs and/or video footage of the winner’s project, prior to commencement and upon completion of the work, as part of standard job delivery. This imagery becomes subject to the promotional licensing rights outlined in clauses 4.1 to 4.6.

5. Prize claim & redemption

5.1 Each winner will be notified primarily by phone or email using the contact details provided at the time of quote request, within two (2) business days of the draw. A supplementary direct message may also be sent via Just Skirting’s Facebook/Instagram page. The fourteen (14) day period in clause 5.2 runs from the phone or email notification.

5.2 Each winner has fourteen (14) days from the date of notification to respond and confirm acceptance of their prize.

5.3 A prize is secured once the winner’s quote has been accepted and the required deposit paid (a “valid project”), except where the winner’s project had already been completed and paid in full as at the date of the draw, in which case no further quote or deposit is required. The prize will be paid as follows: (a) where the project was not already complete and paid in full as at the date of the draw, by way of a credit applied to the final balance owing, on completion of that project, up to the applicable prize value; (b) where the project had already been completed and paid in full as at the date of the draw, by way of a refund of the amount paid for that project, up to the applicable prize value, payable within thirty (30) days of the winner confirming acceptance. Other than the refund described in (b), no cash or substitute alternative will be provided.

5.4 If a winner does not respond within fourteen (14) days of notification (as determined under clause 5.1), or is found ineligible under clause 7, that prize is forfeited and awarded to the next entry in the randomised order determined under clause 6.2 that has not already been awarded a prize. This process repeats as necessary. Where the randomised order is exhausted without a prize being awarded, a further draw will be conducted for the remaining prize in accordance with clause 6.2, as a separate and separately witnessed draw.

5.5 No purchase, deposit, or acceptance of any quotation is required to enter or remain eligible for this promotion. A winner is not required to accept their quotation; however, except in the case described in clause 5.3(b), the prize will only be paid where the winner forms a valid project in accordance with clause 5.3, before the quote or any extension of it expires (clause 5.6).

5.6 If a valid project is not formed before the winner’s quote (or any extension of it granted by Just Skirting) expires, the prize expires with the quote and is forfeited. Where Just Skirting extends the validity of a winner’s quote, the prize’s validity is automatically extended for the same period. This clause does not apply where the winner’s project had already been completed and paid in full as at the date of the draw, as described in clause 5.3(b).

5.7 If a winner cancels their project at any time after a valid project has been formed, the prize is cancelled and will not be paid.

6. Draw process

6.1 The draw will take place at the date, time and venue set out at the top of these Terms. Both the First Prize and Second Prize winners will be determined as part of a single draw process.

6.2 The draw will be conducted by way of random electronic draw. Each valid entry will be assigned a unique sequential number, and the full list of valid entries will be randomised using Random.org’s List Randomizer tool. The first entry in the randomised order will be the provisional First Prize winner, and the second entry in the randomised order will be the provisional Second Prize winner. The full randomised order is recorded and retained, and determines the award of prizes and any subsequent redraw under clause 5.4.

6.3 The draw will be witnessed by an independent person who is not the business owner, an employee administering entries, or an eligible entrant.

6.4 Each person selected is a provisional winner pending verification of eligibility under clause 7.

6.5 Both winners will be announced publicly on Just Skirting’s Facebook/Instagram page following private notification.

6.6 The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the promotional period.

6.7 Records relating to entries, the draw, and the winners (including the entry list, draw evidence, witness declaration, and winner correspondence) will be retained for a minimum of twelve (12) months from the draw date and produced to an authorised WA regulator or police if requested.

6.8 Where fewer than two valid entries are received in a promotional period, prizes will be awarded in order of prize position to the extent that valid entries exist. Any prize for which no valid entry exists is not awarded for that period and is not carried forward.

6.9 This promotion comprises up to eleven (11) consecutive promotional periods, commencing 7 September 2026. The first promotional period runs from 7 September 2026 to 30 September 2026, and each subsequent promotional period is a calendar month. The eleventh and final promotional period closes at 11:59:59pm AWST on 31 July 2027, and the draw for that period will be conducted within one month of that close and in any event on or before 31 August 2027. In accordance with Condition 5 of Schedule 5 to the Gaming and Wagering Commission Regulations 1988 (WA), the promotion will not be conducted for more than twelve (12) months in total, and will not be conducted after 6 September 2027. Any continuation beyond that period will be conducted as a new promotion with separately lodged terms.

7. Ineligibility, disqualification & verification

7.1 Just Skirting reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant or winner, including WA residency, property ownership, and the validity of the quote.

7.2 Any entrant who provides false or misleading information, or who does not meet the eligibility criteria in clause 1, will be disqualified and, if already declared winner, forfeits the prize.

7.3 Each winner may be required to provide proof of identity and proof of property ownership prior to prize redemption.

8. Privacy & use of personal information

8.1 Personal information collected through quote requests and entries (including name, contact details, and property address) will be used by Just Skirting to conduct this promotion, contact and notify winners, and deliver the prize.

8.2 Entry into this promotion does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive ongoing marketing communications. Just Skirting will seek any consent to future marketing communications separately and clearly, in accordance with Just Skirting’s privacy policy, available at justskirting.com.au/privacy-policy. Entrants who do provide marketing consent may opt out at any time.

8.3 Personal information collected for this promotion is retained for twenty-four (24) months from the relevant draw date and then securely destroyed, except where a longer period is required by law.

9. Promotion variation, cancellation & liability

9.1 Prior to the commencement of a promotional period, Just Skirting reserves the right to finalise, adjust, or withdraw these terms. Once a promotional period has commenced and these terms have been lodged, they cannot be varied, and the promotion cannot be cancelled or withdrawn, without the prior written approval of the WA Gaming and Wagering Commission (or its delegate).

9.2 To the extent permitted by law, Just Skirting excludes all liability for any loss, including indirect or consequential loss, arising from participation in this promotion or acceptance of the prize.

9.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on entrants under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Promoter details

10.1 This promotion is conducted by Just Skirting (ABN 62 626 552 001) of 4/25 Mosey St, Landsdale WA 6065, Australia.

10.2 This promotion is a trade promotion lottery conducted in accordance with the Gaming and Wagering Commission Act 1987 (WA) and associated regulations.

10.3 A copy of these terms and conditions will be lodged with the Gaming and Wagering Commission, c/- Racing, Gaming and Liquor, Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety (rgl@lgirs.wa.gov.au), prior to the commencement of each promotional period, in accordance with WA trade promotion lottery requirements.

10.4 This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Meta Platforms, Inc. Entrants release Meta in full. Entry occurs solely through Just Skirting’s quoting process and not through any Meta platform.
